Summer looks a little different this year and while many of us are still at home, that doesn't mean our style has to suffer. I am rounding up some of my favorite summer style staples, all of which are budget friendly.
Summer Style Staples
When it comes to summer style essentials, I reach for flowy dresses, white or nude sandals (which go with everything), fun swimsuits, a stylish straw hat and a variety of easy cover up (including shorts). Today's post will cover all those categories. For each item I will be sharing the sizing and price below the image.

As an aside, shorts shopping is so hard I dedicated a full blog post to reviewing different styles.
Summer Style Staple #1: Flowy Dresses
When it comes to summer style, flowy dresses are my absolute favorite. I am always on the hunt for budget friendly options that look and feel high quality. Luckily there are tons of budget options out there this summer. I am OBSESSED with this first one but I do need to get some fashion tape for the bust area. The other two floral dresses are so adorable as well and are perfect for the casual weekends around the house we've been enjoying.

Summer Staple #2: Nude/White Sandals
Nude and white sandals are my most worn items each summer. They never go out of style and go with literally any outfit. They can take you from backyard picnics to a dressy date night (of take out) I am rounding up some of my favorite budget summer sandals below. These wedges were my go-to all last year and they're back in stock! For more of my Target Haul you can check out this post.

Summer Staple #3: Stylish Hats
Over the last few years I have found new love for hats and I particularly like the smaller brim sun hats that fit my small head better. I included a few of my favorites below along with a fun denim hat from Target that is great for small heads and adjustable for those on the larger side.

Summer Staple #4: Fun Swimsuits
I love fun patterns and colors with swimsuits. The only downside is I rarely have enough pool/beach outings to use them all but this year I am determined. I plan to wear every swimsuit in my collection to our backyard pool at least once this summer! Sharing a few of my favorite summer swimmies below. I am wearing a medium in both and was so impressed with the quality at such a budget price point. Hot pink or leopard not your thing, check out the amazing mix and match sets from Aerie (they run larger so get your normal size or smaller). You can see some of those styles on me here.

Summer Staple #5: Cover Ups
I love having a variety of cover up options to throw on over a swimsuit or tank in the summer. One of my favorite styles that carried over from last year are kimonos. I am OBSESSED with this hot pink option and it's easy to throw over a swimsuit or dress up a plain tank and shorts. If that hot pink is a little much for you, you can also use a plain white button up or this one one with a little cutout. Both items are budget friendly.
