I love the crisp air, the sweaters, and most importantly the cozy drinks in the fall season. There is something about cozying up with a warm cup of coffee that just warms my soul. As the seasons change, I like to incorporate the flavors of the fall like pumpkin, caramel, nutmeg and maple syrup into my daily coffee recipes. Lately, I have been experimenting more and wanted to share a roundup of my favorite fall coffee recipes you can try throughout the fall season.
Fall Coffee Recipes
I used to only drink Keurig coffee or drip coffee but during the pandemic, I invested in this Nespresso machine to bring some joy to my morning coffee routine. My Nespresso machine can make hot coffee, or single espresso which is perfect for fall coffee drinks. Now I find myself making more lattes (complete with flavored sugar-free syrups) and experimenting with flavored coffee recipes, particularly at this time of year. Today I am sharing some of my favorite fall coffee recipes including a Pumpkin Cold Brew with Pumpkin Foam, a Pumpkin Spice Latte with maple syrup, and my favorite a Salted Caramel Pumpkin Latte.
Pro Tip: Marshalls, Home Goods & TJ Maxx all have a huge selection of sugar-free coffee syrups in their stores. You can also get my favorite sugar-free coffee syrups on Amazon

Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew Iced Coffee
The pumpkin cream cold brew at Starbucks is one of my favorites because it's not too sweet and adds a hint of pumpkin to iced cold brew without being overwhelming. I made the copycat version at home and it turned out delicious. The pure pumpkin mixed with heavy cream is delicious and you can double the cream recipe to store overnight and add to multiple drinks. If you don't want to use the vanilla syrup like the Starbucks version, swap for caramel for another fall flavor. To be honest I can't taste the vanilla though.
Ingredients
- Heavy cream
- Pumpkin pie spice
- Cold-brew coffee
- Canned pumpkin
- Vanilla syrup
Instructions
- Combine the vanilla syrup and cold brew coffee (I used the Starbucks sugar-free vanilla syrup with the cold brew cans from Trader Joes)
- Mix the heavy cream (1/2C) with 2-3 Tbls of canned pumpkin and a dash of the pumpkin pie spice. This will make enough cream for multiple drinks
- Blend the pumpkin pie cream with a mixer, immersion blender or frother. I hear an immersion blender will get it to a thick consistency. Mine was more like a thick milk consistency when mixed with a frother
- Pour the pumpkin cream over the cold brew and enjoy!!
Pumpkin Spice Latte with Maple Syrup
I love pumpkin during the fall season but I find so many of the pumpkin spice lattes are overly sweet. I made this version of this coffee recipe at home with steamed milk, pumpkin pie spice, pumpkin extract and maple syrup. You could also use the Jordan's Skinny Syrup in the Pumpkin flavor. I go light on the syrup so it's not too sweet. I particularly like the Nespresso Bianca Leggero or Caramel Cookie coffee with this drink. You can also try this coffee recipe over ice.
Ingredients
- Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Skim Milk ( or milk of your choice)
- Maple Syrup or Jordan's skinny syrup in Pumpkin Spice or Pumpkin Caramel
- Pumpkin Extract
- Whipped Cream
Instructions
- Heat 3/4C milk - I use Fairlife skim milk and heat for 1 minute in the microwave
- Add pumpkin extract and maple syrup or the pumpkin caramel skinny syrup.
- Froth milk with a handheld frother
- Brew the espresso over the milk
- Top with pumpkin pie spice + whipped cream
Maple Vanilla Latte Recipe
A few months ago I started using maple syrup in my lattes and it adds a delicious hint of sweetness without being overwhelming. I also find the flavor blends nicely with espresso or coffee and in this latte. It pairs well with pumpkin spice and pumpkin extract. I make my lattes with Fairlife skim milk but you can use any kind of milk you like (oat, almond, coconut, etc). This particular drink is delicious hot and or as an iced latte. If you're making it iced just mix the maple syrup and espresso first to fully melt it before combining it with ice.
Ingredients
- Espresso
- 3/4C milk (I used skim milk, oat milk also froths well)
- Vanilla extract
- Cinnamon
- Maple syrup
Instructions
- Add 1 tsp of maple syrup to your coffee cup along with 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract.
- Brew your espresso over the maple syrup and add a dash of cinnamon and stir.
- Heat your milk ( I do 1 minute in the microwave) then forth it. I use a wonderful handheld frother.
- Pour the frothed milk over your espresso for a delicious maple vanilla caffe latte at home.
- Try it over ice on a warmer fall day.
Salted Caramel Pumpkin Latte
I love salted caramel and it reminds me of fall activities like caramel apples and the state fair. It was so fun to come up with this decadent coffee recipe that blends the fall flavors or pumpkin caramel. Compared to my other recipes this one is definitely more calories due to the heavy cream and caramel syrup but literally tastes like dessert. Treat yourself this season with delicious coffee recipes at home. Next time, I plan to add crumbled pecans for a little extra fall flavor touch.
Ingredients
- Heavy Cream
- Whipped Cream
- Caramel Syrup
- Pumpkin Caramel Coffee Syrup
- Skim Milk (or milk of your choice)
Instructions
- Mix 2 pumps of Pumpkin Caramel Coffee Syrup in a cup
- Steam the milk (I heat mine in the microwave)
- Meanwhile, mix caramel syrup with heavy cream and stir thoroughly. I like to froth mine to make it thicker
- Add a 1/2 tsp of sea salt to the caramel cream mixture and stir
- Froth your steamed milk
- Brew espresso or coffee over the milk.
- Pour the salted caramel cream into the milk & coffee. If you want you can heat the cream mixture but I added it cold.
- Finish your latte with whipped cream and caramel syrup for a decadent touch.
